DRED SCOTT, WONG KIM ARK & VANESSA LOPEZ

A Documentary Film By Graham Street Productions

Screening & Panel Discussion co-hosted by Asian Pacific Democratic Club
AABA’s Civil Rights Committee presents a screening of “14” exploring the recurring national debate about who has the right to be an American citizen. This question of birthright citizenship is crucial given the recent changes in national immigration policy. A special panel discussion moderated by constitutional law professor Laura Cisneros with the Filmmakers, Lynne Jackson (great-great granddaughter of Dred Scott), and Sandra Wong (granddaughter of Wong Kim Ark) will follow.
